Membership Application Form

Payment can be made via BACS or by cheque.
Membership is administered by the Membership Secretary via the Beacon Membership System.

What to expect as a new member:

Soon after joining, you will receive a Welcome Letter and general information about the interest groups.

Within two to three months, you will be invited to attend a Welcome Meeting where you will have the opportunity to meet other new members, some of the committee and a handful of Interest Group Leaders. At this meeting, you will hear a little about the Third Age Trust, the Yorkshire and Humber Region (YAHR) and how we fit into the whole national organisation. There will be an opportunity to find out much more about what we offer. Refreshments will be available.

Next:
A couple of weeks after the Welcome Meeting, you will be invited to an informal catch-up coffee morning to meet and get to know other new members and find answers to the questions you may now have. This is a chance to meet others and perhaps share interests and experiences. It's often well attended and considered beneficial especially for those at the start of their u3a journey.
