The Group was founded in 2008. Since then, we have had an annual series of tours of the City of York. Each series now consists of seven two-hour walking tours of the city looking particularly at the history of its development.

Although we use the U3A audio system, we still have to limit numbers to around 20 because of our congested streets. The tours run each autumn, but are advertised in the spring. They usually fill up quickly and then the tours for that year are closed.
